This week, the first group of 15 students graduating from the European Masters in Drug and Alcohol Studies (EMDAS), will receive their diplomas at a ceremony at the EMCDDA. EMDAS, a project funded through the EC-Lifelong learning programme, involves four European universities: Århus (Denmark), Ljubljana (Slovenia), Middlesex (UK) and Piemonte Orientale ‘A. Avogardo’ (Italy). The EMCDDA and the European Centre for Social Welfare Policy and Research were involved in shaping the multidisciplinary programme. The graduation will be held at the end of a two-day meeting during which students will discuss the course and their projects.
