Bilateral meeting with Bosnia and Herzegovina

A new EMCDDA-IPA National Correspondent has recently been appointed by the national authorities in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The post is now occupied by Mr Dragan Vukadin, head of department for the suppression of the abuse of narcotic drugs at the Ministry of Security (MoS). The National Correspondent is an important figure within the framework of the EMCDDA-IPA7 project and is responsible for coordinating the implementation of EMCDDA activities in each IPA7 beneficiary. Mr Vukadin replaced Mr Ognjen Zekic who served as the National Coordinator for almost 10 years.

On 18 May, the EMCDDA organised an online bilateral meeting with Mr Vukadin and his team to introduce the EMCDDA staff working on the IPA7 project, and to provide information about future project activities.  The meeting focused on the overview of IPA7 related objectives, timeline, outputs and outcomes and on the challenges at national level to collect, analyse and report drug related data to the EMCDDA.
