European exchange on the policies and practices in the treatment of cannabis-related problems
The EMCDDA, in partnership with the Hungarian National Focal Point, organised on 26 January 2011 a meeting in Lisbon on policies and practices in the treatment of cannabis-related problems in Europe.
The meeting aimed to provide a platform where national experiences can be exchanged on a broad range of issues related to the provision of cannabis treatment in the Member States.
The meeting was split into two thematic sessions. The first session discussed ‘National policies and access to cannabis treatment’, with presentations by professionals, experts and researchers from Hungary, the Czech Republic and Spain.
The second session discussed the ‘Availability, provision and quality of cannabis treatment’ and included presentations by professionals, experts and researchers from France, Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark.
